Anti-aging Products – Affordable from the Drugstore

While down in Palm Beach , Florida recently, I (JoJami) had the pleasure of staying at Frenchman’s Reserve, a fabulous private golf course and spa resort.

After one of the most wonderful facials at their private spa, much to my surprise, the esthetician recommended that I use a few products from the drug store.

One of the products she suggested was RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream. At $19.00 this Retinol rich cream will have your looking more youthful, with out shelling out the big bucks.

One of the most important keys to keeping our over 40 skin looking fantastic is exfoliating! Another recommended product was Olay Regenerist Thermal Mini-peel to keep skin looking bright and feeling clean.olay-regenerist
One of our friends, Karen Hamilton writes a blog called The Best Kept Secret and she recently reported finding more great finds  at the drug store. For example, Clarins has a fantastic product that rejuvenates and repairs skin called Double Serum Generation 6.

We have found that sometimes you don’t have to pay crazy prices for good products. Be aware that fancy packaging and pushy sales staff can be intimidating.

The main thing is no matter what your budget, keep skin well moisturized and drink lots of water!

Kinerase Cream, one of the top most reviewed anti aging cream.
Kinerase did not just become Allure’s Best of Beauty Award Winner for nothing. This product is not only the best anti wrinkle cream, but it also improves the appearance of sun-damaged skin.
Kinerase Cream protects the skin from the damaging effects of the sun and free radicals, aids in the production of collagen, and protects the skin from the sun for up to 72 hours.
Kinerase is recommended for people with undesired freckles, blotchiness and sun-damaged skin. It is suitable for all skin types, and gentle enough for sensitive skin, even for those who have Rosacea.

As we catch hold of age, our skin slowly loses its moisture and elasticity, making our complexion look dull and blister. Every age brings along it’s own problems and some effective skin treatments as mentioned below can fight with these problems at different stages of your life. Now these are helpful beauty tips as I just spent my entire 401k on skin care products at Neimans! It seemed SO RIGHT at the time.
Hours later at home I felt faint and had to breathe into a paper bag or call an ambulance. I realized it wasn’t worth my retirement. I promptly returned the products. I’m still searching for the right skin care and feel this is way to spend my days when I do retire. Thanks for the info; I wrote it down.

Glam girls got it exactly right – Olay thermal skin polisher is AMAZING!!! It has transformed my skin into “baby skin” texture, and the feeling of the heat in the morning in the shower is luxurious.

    Thank-you for that tip!!!!!

A product which is just flying off the shelves here in the UK (after being recommended by several well-respected beauty editors) is Siana Moisturising Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream from Aldi (very cheap supermarket) and it costs an unbelievable £1.85 (less than $2!)

I would recommend Gaba med as a wrinkle cream. Easy to use, and results are immediate
