Maybe somebody out there is listening? Just heard that Bloomingdales has launched a special clothing department for Boomers. It’s called Quotation and it’s for for middle aged women who don’t want to dress like middle aged women (in other words no frumpy allowed!) This department caters to yummy mummys and professionals 35-55 who want to look hip and modern, but adult too.
Check out this video fashion show. It looks like they’re on the right track. Ann Taylor is following suit with a boomer line due out in the new year. Shopping might just start getting fun again!
I used to love Ann Taylor. Then they turned into something that had nothing at all for me. Most clothes out now are ugly & unflattering. Sure would be nice to find clothes I want to buy!
