Casual Dressing this Memorial Day weekend

Hi, it’s Glam Gal JoJami still on the road traveling the country on the Tour de Glam!

Today I was on the hunt for some fresh produce at the Farmers Market in Santa Fe, New Mexico but the real treat for me was checking out the weekend causal wear on the over 40, 50 and older gals!

This high desert climate and artsy community bring out some wonderful and creative outfits, so here are a few that I stopped and chatted with!

Nancy Long (age 55) a Santa Fe local, was absolutely looking so chic (and Age-mazing™) as she made her way down the rows of organic goodies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She has pulled her outfit together nicely with these pieces:

• simple straw hat
• colorful t-shirt that fits nicely (Ann Taylor)
• flowered print scarf with white tassel trim  (a gift from her daughter from Mod Cloth)
• white linen skirt (Anthropology)
• silver cuff bracelet and silver hoop earings
• straw purse (Ann Taylor)
• kitten heel sandals (Cole Haan, Nordstrom)

Mixing up several different brands she has successfully pulled off an outfit that is both comfortable yet classy!

I admired her  handbag, and it turns out she had purchased it on a recent trip to Paris. She said that it was by French designer Ursule Beaugeste. I was not familiar with that brand and so looked it up, and come to find out  that it is one of the new “hot” shops in Pairs!

Now, take a look at her sunglasses, they work well with her face shape and sure looked updated!
