I heard of the NYT article.And yes I agree with you. This is one trend that I won’t follow!
Thursday’s New York Times wrote about such heresy! It’s in, it’s true. I hate chipping nails, so tacky, yet so little time to keep re-polishing. Perhaps it is a symbol of strength and self assurance; as if you can hold up under the pressure of watching a $20 manicure go down the drain, you’re one hell of a woman. For the faint of heart like myself….chose light pink. For the big and brave with chipping blood red nails….right on!
I have been fashionable for years evidently…I love that women have sometimes so little time to handle our bodies and it becomes a fashion statement as a justification (?)
