Demi Moore told she looks old
There’s been lots of buzz about Demi Moore on the net lately. First there were nasty comments about her Age defying, wrinkle free ads for her new perfume, “Wanted”.
Then, A Twitter controversy about her possibly airbrushed hips for W magazine.
and just recently she got a cruel response to pictures she posted of herself on Twitter. Demi was told that she looks old.
The gloves are off and she’s fighting mad! ” I’m 47, How am I supposed to look?” she angrily twittered back.
Do you think Demi should have even bothered to respond to comments about how she looks for her age? Has she set herself up for all this by trying to stay so youthful, or are there just a lot of jealous people out there? Some of us think she looks pretty terrific. Tell us what you think.

Oh for Pete’s sake.I’m sure glad I’m not her! Even without all the airbrushing I’m sure she looks amazing. It’s not about trying to look younger! It’s about looking great whatever your age. And she’s doin’ it!
Hi Karen,
Yes, we agree. No matter what your age we have to live for the moment! The main thing is that she is in top shape and has great fashion sense. That goes a long way to looking great and is usually a pre-requisite to being a big star.
It wouldn’t be so bad if she really were aging like the rest of us. She has all kinds of tucks and lasers.. (I heard she had a knee lift for God’s sake) then she pontificates about growing old gracefully… Paleez. the only wrinkle prevention is the knife and a really expensive Hollywood plastic surgeon. Yes, you detect biiterness in my type! I want those lasers and tucks. Viva la youth…. you go Demi just don’t be a #$%^&%g hypocrite about it Hollywood!
Doesn’t Sofia Loren look amazing in Nine?!
Dear Deborah and JoJami, we would love to read/watch your suggestions on hair (haircut, color, etc.) for being Fab after 40.
Cheers,
Liliana.
I think that Demi Moore is hiding a great deal about her age, especially at 47! It is time that women stop hiding behind hair dye and plastic sugery. I’m 43 years old and I want to mature into a “Crone”, which is actually a wise woman (Maiden-Mother-Crone). I’ve stopped coloring my hair and am currently transitioning with 40% gray growth. I’ve not had plastic surgery and don’t plan on to having any done. Individuals like Demi Moore represent what is wrong with women maturing into middle age and over. Embrace your inner truth are and you will be beautiful no matter your age!
Why not let it be a personal choice? If you have the want and the means to make yourself look younger, then so be it. We are all so quick to judge. I personally would love to look like Demi Moore and I am 47 years old too! I am sure there are 27 year old women who wouldn’t mind looking like her as well. She looks great and has the money to keep herself looking that way, kudos to her!!!!
I saw on TV that she had $30,000 worth of cosmetic surgery, so obviosly, she isn’t looking “how she’s supposed to look”!
I just stumbled upon this *story* today; I had no idea it was a controversy (I know, I know, where have I been?
For me, even looking at Demi’s best photos, I think she looks her age; I’m her age, I’ve never had anything done, and I don’t have forehead wrinkles, noticeable crow lines or wrinkles around my mouth. I’ve also never drank or smoked or sunbathed, and I always get adequate rest. So, for those who take care of themselves, pre-50 shouldn’t be a wrinkle fest anyway! Oh, and I’m proud of my silver, too – I’m thankful for what is still considered “youthful” about me, but not in the least ashamed of what expresses my years.
