There is a wonderful facial you can get, where they can use a special razor on the face to get rid of the hair. It has to be done on a regular basis but it does work and is not painful.

Hi Rhonda, H ow could we forget threading!! We had it done for the first time at the More Reinvention convention 2 years ago. Just did the eyebrows and it was not painful at all and with great results. Can’t imagine the upper lip, but we will take your word for it, a little pain but a cheap price!

Before I had mine lasered I just used an electric razor which worked fine. It doesn’t make the hair grow back darker or thicker, but the regrowth does have blunt ends which may make it seem that way. But if you’re going to get rid of it anyway does it really matter?

I have found that having my lip and eyebrows waxed at my salon every 4 weeks along with a haircut, color, and manicure is a perfect way to spend the second Friday of each month, Keeps the hair in shape, eye and lip hair tamed, and the manicure is a treat for this poor tired high school teacher at the end of a long week!

You didn’t mention threading . . . I find it to be the best (and cheapest) way to remove facial hair. It also has the added advantage of trimming the eyebrow hair so my eyebrows always look perfectly manicured when I leave there. The eyebrows don’t hurt too much but I have to say the threading of the upper lip is quite torturous. However for $10 for both and no hot wax burning my skin . . . I can’t beat it!
