Fall Fashion 2009 – One Shoulder Dressing
Do you Dare to bare your shoulders this fall? Asymmetrical necklines, particularly one shoulder dresses and tops, continue to be strong. Is this a silly or sexy look after 40? It all depends on several things things:
| Your body: There’s no fashion rule that says you can or can’t wear a one shoulder after a certain age. If you have great shoulders and toned arms, then a one shoulder dress is a wonderful way to show that off, no matter what your age. Go for it. (Saks) |

| The Occasion: Baring a shoulder is a dramatic look and not appropriate for the workplace. Save it for after work fun. (Saks) |

Wonderful! Love all the dresses!
i like the pink one looks elegant yet hot and sexy!
We have not seen this look in a while, and it can be something new to try. Also, it can make an outfit more affordable, since you won’t be needing a necklace, just some nice dangle earings will be enough to accessorise this look!
I have never liked the combination of one sleeve and one bare shoulder is trying too hard to be “edgy.” I think it looks unfinished and silly. With two shoulders bared with the accent on a single shoulder, this look makes a lot more sense and looks much more elegant. Just another opinion!!
H Libby,
We respect your opinion. All trends are not for all people and especially NOT for all body types. This is one trend that will not do well on those with broad shoulders or thick arms however it can look super on petite or tall women. Just look at the recent Tony awards, many of the stars wore this look beautifully! We really like it~
