If you’ve never been to the More Re-Invention Convention you really must attend. It’s a fantastic place to meet new friends and get advice on everything from fashion to finance, anti-aging and entrepreneurship.
The easy part getting a ticket. The hard part is deciding what to wear to a networking event?
Here’s what I came up with after checking in my closet.
The first outfit: a pair of gray Armani pants and a cropped orange Akris cashmere jacket with black suede pumps. The second outfit: a red wool dress with matching jacket, a belt and some cool booties.
Since I was going to be in a sea of dynamic over 40 women and I wanted to look Wow; that’s why I ruled out boring black.
I also wanted to wear something colorful so I looked energetic, friendly and approachable.
Here’s what I ended up wearing.
I’ve always loved red – what blonde doesn’t look good in red? Plus, I always feel good when I wear a dress. I felt I made the perfect choice.
My friend JoJami also wore a bright outfit- a gold colored jacket and black pencil skirt. We really stood out and made a lot of fantastic contacts.
