How to Wear a Sheer Top

sheer panel top

You may have seen the tops and dresses out there with sheer panels and wrote them off because you figured there was no way to wear them without exposing too much.

But here’s a styling tip that solves that problem.

There’s nothing wrong with wearing a tank top underneath a sheer panel top.

You see here in this  black top here. You could wear a black camisole underneath, yes that would work….or what about something a little more daring?

You could try a bold color underneath for a modern contrast. Here’s an example wearing blue. What do you think of this look. Would you wear it?

  1. Hi Betty,
If you can find some pictures of models in their 40’s and beyond please send them. We are as frustrated as you because designers and stores don’t use mature models, so this is what we are stuck with to show you! It’s crazy, isn’t it?

  2. Fabulous after 40. Please give women after 40 models that are older than our teenagers. I would have more of an inclination to take this site as seriously meant for us, if the models were in fact women, not girls. I feel this site has tremendous potential, but attention to detail entails gearing the clothes as well as those modeling them to the target audience.

I live the sheer summer look. Found several at Chico’s and Cold Water Creek

I have been looking for Jacket Dresses. Do they still make them? I don’t like to show my arms and air conditioning makes sleevless dresses not warm.
