Kate Moss thinks Grey Hair is Chic
For all of you who have written to us agonizing over whether you should let your hair go grey, take a look at this.
Kate Moss (36) is suddenly silver streaked, and she thinks it’s chic. No, it’s not natural; it’s FASHIONABLE. She has purposely dyed her hair this way. Find out what she was thinking, and whether you think this new trend will will last. Read on..

even if Kate Moss is short, she has that unique pretty face;;-
Kate Moss is still one of the prettiest faces in the whole world.’.;
I went au naturel a couple of years ago and was fine with it till I was looking for a job and then I must have asked a zillion people for their opinion – no one thought I should dye my hair! I stopped coloring because of both cost and time and it was damaging my hair a well. I’m happier and I really do love the multitude of colors I have on my head – I’m lucky it’s coming in as a very shiny silver! My opinion – act your age – it’s fine to color – but do it age appropriate and professionally done – it shouldn’t look dyed!
I’ve seen botched Grey as often as I’ve seen botched blonde.
It’s true; you really do need a MASTER colorist to get it done right.
The W magazine article addressed the washed out look: thank heaven.
As for me – I’m told Auburn brings out my eyes.
My opinion is – if your face is still relatively line/wrinkle free and you are smaller in size, the gray does not make you look older – you just look like those who prematurely gray. I saw a woman who could not have been more than 30 with so many gray threads in her hair you would have thought she was at least 50. But her hair was long, dark and thick and it looked good…..the flip side is if you really are older, you may have lost coloring in your face and your eyebrows and hair are graying or sparse and maybe a little on the heavier side – all the gray does not look as chic
Hi Katie,
Great, keep us posted on how it goes for you! We have an old post on going grey that MORE magazine had written a few years back. It was rather surprising on how emotional it can be to go grey, so you are on a wonderful journey! Good luck!
Kate Moss is NOT someone I would use as a role model…fashion (too thin) OR personal (drug use). Next….
I just recently had my hair done and was debating whether to wash ALL the gray out of my hair. I decided to start acting my age and have it blended like Kate.
