Going out on the town these days for JoJami and I means getting dressed up, but in a more casual way. JoJami has been traveling the U.S. with her husband in their motor coach. I just moved into our dream home that we’ve been building for two years, and find something as simple as getting out to dinner and movie with my husband is a real treat.

JoJami’s casual evening look
So after posting about make-up looks for fall, and each receiving a beautiful box of Mary Kay products to try, Jo Jami and I decided to test one of these new looks on a date night.
JoJami: My special night was in Montana at the famous Chico Hot Springs Inn. I chose a pair of dark wash jeans and a colorful leather jacket to hit the town. The gorgeous mineral based eye shadows in espresso and hazelnut were just perfect to coordinate with my muted orange coat. I dusted my cheeks with the cider and then finished off the look with their pink luster lip gloss.
Deborah: My special evening was a cozy Italian dinner and the movies here where I live, here in Burlington, Ontario. I chose a sexy red leopard sweater and black skinny pants.
Like JoJami I opted for the hazelnut shadow on my entire eye with some espresso in the crease but I also threw in some honey spice just under my brow for a more dramatic look. I topped off my eyes with the black eyeliner, which I absolutely love because it went on so fine, and the fabulous lash love mascara to plump thing up. Then I applied the Shy Blush, a mouth-watering shimmery peach color.

Next came the red lip. Whoa! I hadn’t worn red lips since the late 80’s. It was definitely scary when I first put really red on, too overpowering, so I toned it down. I blotted, added some pink luster lip gloss and really liked it! It was a fun change to have your lips as the focus. I felt very sexy.
JJ: Deb, I have to say that the Mary Kay mascara is one of the best I have ever used. The brush just grabs your lashes and coats them perfectly without globbing. Also, I have talked with many of my girlfriends and I’m always surprised when many of them admit that they don’t know how to use a make- up brush. The Mary Kay make up brush line is just wonderful even for beginners because they are easy to hold and are labeled on what each brush is for, to make it easy to pick what to use.
Deb: Overall, I just thought the make-up went on beautifully and the colors and quality of the products are great.
JoJami: Yes, me too.
Deb: Nothing like fresh new make-up to make you feel like a Glam Gal! (This is a Sponsored post)

Dear Glam Gals,
Help! I’m 56 and petite, 5′ 3″, about 120 lbs. Fall is here, so I would prefer not to go bare legged with a skirt or dress. My legs are not tanned at all, so what do I wear? I understand pantyhose are out, so what’s a girl to do? Black tights, opaque tights? What to wear with a classic black pump? Like I said, Help!!!
Anne,
I’m 54 and 5’2″ and weigh the same.
