Here it is Spring and many of you have written us needing some inspiration on how to update your hair!

How do you know if you need a new do? Just ask yourself a few of these simple questions:
1) How long has it been since you tried something new?
2) Are you still using hot rollers?
3) Looking at these photos, are you feeling like you might need a change?
4) Have you been cutting your hair short for a long time? How about doing a 6 month plan and grow it out to chin length just for fun?
Don’t forget that this can be a great time to add some dimision to your hair and lighten it up a bit! Hair that is too dark can really age you!

What’s wrong with “still using hot rollers”? I had used them 20 years ago and didn’t use them for the past 15 since becoming a mom. Finally bought a new set (after all, they do still sell them) and use them once in awhile when I have time. Did I step into an age trap? Was I supposed to leave them on the shelf for twenty-somethings or just let my daughter use them? Advice needed!

Would love to see a photo of your hair. Hot rollers can still be fine for those with longer hair (shoulder length or longer) If you have shorter hair, you might need the really BIG hot curlers to give it some lift and bend. Most updated styles today can be styled with a large round brush and or flat iron.
