One year mark and Jill Knapp has kept off the 100 pounds of weight!
Last year we posted an inspirational story of one of our readers Jill Knapp, who after finding out that she had Type 2 Diabetes, pulled herself together, lost 100 pounds and even entered and placed in a state beauty pageant!
Since last year, Jill has appeared on The Dr. Oz show and this week First For Women Magazine has a wonderful article on her and how she has changed her diet to a lifestyle that she can live with. Moreover, she is going to compete once again, at this years Mrs. Idaho International Pageant! Go Jill!!!
JoJami recently interviewed Jill to see how she has been able to keep the weight off!
Thanks Jill for keeping us inspired to take a healthy approach to loosing weight and thanks to all who sent in their questions!!

I was diagnosed with type 2 due to weight about a year ago. I have always worried that it may become a problem but put weight loss off. Not a good idea. This interview is wonderful. I have lost 62 pounds to date but have about 10 to go which is not budging. I will keep mixing things up in hopes it works. Congratulations Jill! I know how hard it is to get that weight off when we are in our 40′s.
Hi Kim,
Yes, you can see that you are not alone with this problem and that many have gotten back in shape! You can do it too!! Thanks for writing in, the first step to making a change is putting it down on paper that it is something you desire to do. Now you are on your way! We hope you will bookmark this interview and listen to it when you need a pep talk! We are behind you all the way and we just chatted with Jill a few days ago and she is going to do another interview with us in July!! YIPEE!! It will be her 2 year anniversary of keeping the weight off! So stay tuned!! Good Luck! Cheers, The Glam Gals
