Real women, real fashion – for less!
You asked for it!
We got such a great response from our last post, we can’t wait to show you more real life, really fabulous women!
You may remember my (JoJami’s) very recent trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show. Not only did I see some beautiful flowers, I also saw some great fashion! (It just proves you can find inspiration anywhere!) It was a pleasure to meet Anne, who gave me some great tips about where to shop to get good deals on designer clothes. Thanks, Anne – you look great!

Ann – you look stunning! What fabulous style! Oh, how I miss Philadelphia style (yes, there IS Philadelphia style)since I moved from the area over 15 years ago. You are so put together and chic! I’m going to copy your look and revive my own Philadelphia style (did I mention how much I miss it?) here in my town where boho-chic is all the rage. JoJami, you look pretty fabulous yourself when we see pics…
How about some pieces on regional style? Philadelphia (NOT Philly) style is so different from New York style which is so different from Boston style, etc.
Hi Leslie,
Thanks for your comment! We are so excited to start bringing you more real women.
I (JoJami) will be in Florida this week with my camera and Flip video in tow…so we can all see what the real women of Florida are wearing!
Keep your eyes peeled for more great tips!
Cheers!
I was born in Philadelphia and moved to NYC 40-mmmm years ago. I’ve kept my Philadelphia fashionista sensibilities. However, there is nothing like NYC for more upscale choice and variety… sometimes, too much so! The best thing is…all the designers copy-down the newest styles and trends. Therefore, you can have it at the price point that you can afford…Yea!
I agree, Ann looks great for her age and so do I, even tho I am 12 years older. (pix on website) There really is “that Philadelphia thing”…Grace Kelly had it goin’ too.
P.S. Love this blog (via problogger.com)
Hi Helene,
We did see your photo over at problogger… LOVE IT!!! You are looking hip and gorgeous!
Yep, we love to go to NYC to get inspired and chat with women on the street when we see a great looking one.
We have noticed A LOT of women from Europe in NYC at the better stores, snappy up sales and cashing in on the great deals with their Euros!
They seem to really know how to splurge on the right pieces and throw them together effortlessly. And of course with Manhattan being an amazing resource , you city girls have it going on. What a great town!
One thing that has been fun on our travels is to see the vibe of different cities. For instance the “it” purse in our little town of Wilmington, De these days is
M.Z. Wallace
What is the “it” bag in NYC these days?
