Sephora eyelash curler is cool and compact
Oh, to have long curly lashes! Don’t know about you but I (Deborah) was born with average length eyelashes that stick straight out instead of flutter upwards, so if I was stuck on a desert island one of the things I’d want with me is a great eyelash curler.
The other day I was out with my friend and I whipped out my eyelash curler to do a touch up. To my surprise, my friend got all excited. She had never seen the cute Sephora brand go curl eyelash curler that I’ve been using for 3 years. I forgot how much I love it. It’s small enough to slide into my jam packed cosmetic bag, and it works really well.
Believe me, I’ve tried them all …Max Factor, Revlon, Shisedo, Tweezerman and even Shu Uemura, which everyone raves about but, which actually chopped off my lashes taking me over 6 months to fully grow them back! Sephora’s cool little curler works great for me.

One tip- as with all eyelash curlers, make sure to curl before applying mascara to avoid spindly clumped lashes. Also, someome once told me to use my blowdryer to heat up my eyelash curler before I curled in order to set the lashes the way a curling iron would set hair. But, I’ve never found it works. Have any of you tried this?
Now speaking of mascara, I’ve noticed in the last few years that I’m always rubbing just below my lower lashes to get rid of the mascara smudges caused by mascara on my upper
lashes ( I don’t wear mascara on my lower lashes).
I don’t know why this smudging happens because I don’t use much moisturizer under my eyes during the day and I even put a little powder there to catch the smudges, but I still get them. It must have something to do with the way my eyes are wrinkling as I age.
Anyway, I heard about the new Estee Lauder doublewear zero-smudge lenghthening mascara and I thought I’d give it a try. What the heck!
I honestly didn’t think it would make a difference, but it did. I’m sticking with it because I’ve tried other types before- ones that are advertised as waterproof, but they seem to dry out my lashes . Also, it’s murder getting waterproof mascara off at night becasue you have to use the kind of eye make-up remover that makes an oily mess.

Kiss Me Mascara by blinc is the answer for all those women who “are allergic” and always rub their eyes. It has plastic tubes that coat the lashes instead of filament and paint
Also, since you’re on lashes, Jan Marini makes an eye lash product (age intervention eye lash conditioner) that regrows and thickens lashes. It’s very expensive, we sell it, I’ve not used it, but one of our staff did it on one eye and not the other to compare and there was a noticeable difference.
