Sex in the City II is out and I must say, these gals are all all looking Fabulous after 40!
I (JoJami) must admit… getting to see four stylish women tromping around in Dior, high heels and over the top fashion is one guilty pleasure that sure did enjoy!
One reviewer said it best, “We don’t watch Sex and the City for plot, unexpected twists or subtle characterization; it’s more like catching up with old friends, giving their clothes the once-over and plunging back into the giddy world of talking about sex and relationships.”
This is a giant powder puff of a movie, so you can totally wait until it comes out on DVD.
P.S. (To prevent any possible brain atrophy, I’m currently reading, Plato’s, Republic.)

Yeah…it was eye candy. But a slut is a slut no matter what age. Those characters are poor examples for real women. Any woman with an iota of self respect would see the movie (and series) as a cautionary tale. How I would love to see a TV program or movie with fashionable women who are also virtuous.

Yeah… it is true!! LOL, Plato is our bookclubs summer “challenge” and it certainly is just that!
STC was a fun distraction!
Oh look it is pure escapism. To take your mind off your world for 2.5 hours, into fantasy land it’s a great movie. To feed your brain, see another one. But it is fun, colourful, entertaining and though occasionally bordering on the ridiculous, if you are a fan it won’t disappoint. While we are on the subject of movies, go see Animal Kingdom, and support the Aussies!
