Snakeskin Trend – Fall 2011
Here’s a trend that you are either going to love, or it is going to make your skin crawl. Snakeskin has slithered onto the fashion scene, and not just any old snakeskin- the more exotic the better. We’re talking vividly colored and metallic skins that give your clothes a modern look and definite edgy feel.
You could say snakeskin is dethroning leopard and other big cat prints that have been so prominent the past few years. These animal prints are still fashionable, but not as of the moment as our footless friend. Here’s what we’re talking about.
Personally the boots are enough for me ( Deborah), but I like things simple and elegant. This is a trend that has a lot to do with personality and some of you gals might be really able to rock this look.

Snakeskin is really fun to have in your wardrobe. Sounds like your doing it right!
Agree with above comments. For instance: a bag, belt or shoes is enough! And only one piece at a time. I have a pair of snakeskin sandals that I love. I wear them with jeans and a plain t-shirt.
I’m a fan of snakeskin, but only in small doses! Wouldn’t want to scare anyone! I do love my wedge snakeskin heels!
Yes agree with meppybn only in small elegant portions, nothing too garish. I would also prefer a subtle snakeskin pattern rather than the bold ‘diamond python’ patterned boots pictured.
