Summer party dressing, Part 3: Add Accessories
Finally, add some accessories to formalize and freshen up your outfit. You can wear all those stylish, clunky jewelry pieces to really add some flair! Wear a signature jewelry piece like a strand of chunky jade, a stretchy stone bracelet, or dangling earrings depending on the formality of the affair.
Layering these pieces can be fun too.
Here is a woman we met recently. She has on coral necklace that she bought years ago and has layered it with a thin crystal necklace.

Don’t forget your feet! No matter what your size or shape, any woman can have fun with her shoes. Summer is the best time to find colorful heels or embellished sandals. Don’t forget the toes! Look elegant from head to toe by getting a great pedicure. In summer when you’re wearing less clothing, every detail counts!

In ne Texas I sure wouldnt wear the orange long sleeve sweater in summer! Maybe a brighter tshirt top but no sweater in July 100 degree temps!
I don’t think grey is a good color on anyone with light skin.
That’s what I struggle with! I love the Glam Girls ideas and ensembles but they often include long sleeved items. I live in So. Cal. where it regularly tops 100 & long sleeves and/or layered items are out of the question. Maybe some HOT weather business casual and backyard summer party ideas?
Living in central Florida I am all for HOT weather clothing. Even inside with the AC I cannot wear sleeves……….. This may be due in part to my age:)
