Here is your fashion homework challenge for today:
Go in your closet and pick out one piece of clothing that you love and adore, but are “saving” it to wear to something special.
It is so funny how we tend to “save” our clothes?

Are you saving a great jacket? Why not wear it!
Do you have something that you bought recently and have not worn it yet? Why do we do that?
I was working with a client recently and she had bought a wonderful Dolce and Gabbana jacket at Loemans.
She admitted that:
- Had worn it it once but it was a little dressier and more stylish than she usually dressed
- She wanted to save it for special occasions.
- She really did not know what top to put under it or what pants to wear with it.
When you have something that you bought because you loved it, make sure you have the other items to help make it shine, then don’t just let it hang in your closet…make sure to get it out and wear it!
Why not wear your cutest clothes more often instead of saving them!!
Write in and tell us what you have saved….we want to hear!

Deborah is deciding between pants and a dress????
We Glam Gals are super excited to be once again getting ready to attend the More Re-Invention Convention that is being held this coming Monday, Oct. 18, in NYC.

JoJami picks...Will it be blue snake skin or corporate ruffle?
If you don’t have your ticket yet, it is not too late…you can still register for it!
That is the easy part…the hard part is “What to wear to this networking event ?”
We have been playing around in our closets and here are a few of the things we have come up with!
We are going to be in a sea of dynamic over 40 women we want to look “Wow!” That is why we have ruled out boring black. We want to wear color and to look friendly and apporoachable.
Feel free to tell us what you think!

Getting dressed should not be a chore, but a lovely ritual
Hi, JoJami here, today and I have a confession to make. I tend to be one of those gals that is always on the run from one activity to the next, always, busy busy busy…
However, a few weeks ago, I decided to actually, slow down and meet a girlfriend to go to our local art museum, to go see lovely documentary film about the art of having tea. The film was all about how the Asian culture makes time for the precious ceremony of preparing, setting the table, smelling and slowly sipping tea. I left the theater feeling so peaceful and serene. Then I thought…
Why not apply it to getting dressed?
So, without delay Deborah and I put together some tips and wrote the following article for More Magazine on “The Art of Getting Dressed”
Enjoy!
Also, please share with us your rituals and tips below, we want to hear them!
