Think you’re healthy? Check out this list of the 10 worst foods…
If you are over 40 want to look good in your clothes, the first thing you need to make sure is that you’re eating healthy.
We came across this list today, of the 10 top worst foods.
I (JoJami) was shocked to learn that, even though I think I’m a pretty healthy eater, I’ve been making some bad choices.
On the list was Progresso soup, which I do enjoy and eat once in a while, and came to find out is extremely high in salt
Worst of all, my favorite night time snacks, buttered microwave popcorn, was on the “bad” list too.
SHOOT..I love buttered popcorn!
Now that I know this, I can start to try make better choices.
Let us know how you’re making better choices and if it’s worth it!

JoJami, I just bought us an old fashioned air popper! that way you know you’re getting JUST POPCORN!!! You have to read the books by Tosca Reno on “Clean Eating.” She has a great quarterly magazine on the newsstands, too.
Hi Karen,
OK, I will dig mine out from the back of the closet!!
I am going to check that Clean Eating book out too…sometimes we just need to be aware and reminded of what “why” what we are doing is bad, to change our habits!
Thanks!!!
JoJami
I have lost a significant amount of weight and kept it off for several years now by eliminating junk carbs like POPCORN! Trust me – it will not satisfy hunger and it will make you crave more carbs.
Try a protein snack (cheese, nuts) with a quality carb like a small piece of fruit or cut up veggie. Even a piece of swiss cheese wrapped around a thin slice of ham will cut cravings and satisfy hunger and program yourbody to burn fat while you sleep (that popcorn before bed will set you up to store every calorie as fat.
But the worst of all is sugar – avoid it like the plague because it is poison! You will hear alot about this in the future because there are several ongoing studies about sugar and especially childhood obesity.
