Trying to keep the weight off after 40?

Do you exercise enough?
Many of us after turning 40, have experienced yo-yo dieting — losing pounds only to gain them back again after a short while. Since we get so many of questions about weight, especially during the summer months, we wanted to pass along an article posted at Hole in The Donut – the blog that is hosting this week’s Blogging Boomers Carnival.
What is a Blogging Boomers Carnival? It’s a group of expert bloggers that write on a variety of different Boomer Lifestyle issues. It’s our way to share with you some of the top blog stories and keep you up to date on not just fashion, but some other interesting topics.
Let us know which stories you like!

I am the over 40 who wants the weight off.
These are some great ideas and thank you for sharing that story on the lady who lost 100 pounds. It was made just for me and I have listened to that podcast well over 10 times I am sure
Hi Dusty,
Yes, after 40, weight is certainly an issue!!! We love talking about it and are surprised at how many women have taken their health seriously and have changed the way the eat and get moving again. We don’t think that you have to be skinny, just healthy! I’m reading a great book called, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, by Barbara Kingslover. I tend to want to eat organic, but many times have passed it over for the less expensive regular produce. After reading her book, I have a new attitude about this. I will happily cut back in other areas to buy organic from now on. It supports those who are struggling to make a living as an organic farmer and it is a lot more healthy for my body! (oh my, did I go off on a rant or what!!)
