I certainly think her weight loss is great and she looks good,,,,,,,but not great and it’s no longer a youthful body.
No Longer a youthful body? “Youthful” is relative. I ‘ve seen more than my fair share of youthful bods with bellies and waist flab hanging over their pants.
Talk about an Ageist culture we live in…..If you’re a woman, or a younger woman saying this–I can’t wait to see how you look at her age……
She looks good regardless of her age. There are women half her age who look much worse.
Hi Pretty One,
We agree that she looks good no matter what her age. Her story is that she had lost her self esteem after she had gained weight and wanted to look healthy again. She had a goal and achieved it. How inspiring! We feel that women over 40 give up and the Glam Gals want to say, “It’s not too late!”
We are not promoting everyone be thin, but if a women feels bad about her body, we want her to take control and feel good.
The media does promote being thin, which we do not agree with, but looking healthy and being able to fit into mainstream department store clothes is certainly a goal we think is worth pursuing if you want it!
