Forget, How Old are You? ……..The question is, HOW BOLD ARE YOU?
I was in NYC last night for the fabulous launch party of Chico’s #HowBoldAreYou Campaign, which is out to prove age is just a number and encourages women to grow bolder, not older. I had my bold moment when I walked the paparazzi-lined red carpet in this . To learn more, see my page: Blog Monetization and Disclosure.”cute pink Chico’s dress. With the cameras flashing wildly and video rolling, I felt like a movie star. WOW!!

The event was held at Joe’s Pub in NYC with a delicious dinner afterward at Indochine, and you won’t believe who was there…….

Yes, that’s Molly Ringwald pictured here with her husband, Panio Gianopoulous. Molly was on hand to celebrate and perform for us. Did you know she is a talented Jazz singer?

The adorable Tracee Ellis Ross shared some heartfelt thoughts about her growing bold journey with us. She said she always had an idea of who she wanted to be when she was young, and she spent a lot of time discovering and exploring “her,” and as she grew older, she has gained the confidence and boldness to become that person. Isn’t that a lovely way to put it?
Next, she introduced the dynamite Chico’s #howboldareyou video that leaves shivers up my spine and makes me so proud to be a part of this campaign. You have to WATCH THIS!

Molly took to the stage, and before diving into a few tunes, she talked about how’s she feels she’s become bolder and more confident with age. She credits her many life experiences and working at things every day for making her a better writer, singer, actress, and mother.

The crowd loved it, including my fab friends! Recognize these gals? This was the second time Chico’s had brought us together in NYC to be involved in their campaign. The first was a few weeks ago when they asked for our feedback and input into the launch.

We were all so impressed with all the research they had done interviewing women about what they wanted, and how interested they were in what we had to say. We came home excited to help them with their mission to redefine society’s perception towards women as they grow older.

I’m excited to be working with these bloggers as ambassadors for Chico’s, a brand that is truly first class!

I also got to meet Brand President Diane Ellis (far left). There’s Tracee, the lovely Shelagh Stoneman – SVP of marketing for Chico’s ( She’s originally from my hometown of Burlington, Ontario), and finally Lesley Jane Seymour- former editor of More Magazine, who emceed the event.

Does this fellow look familiar? That’s Adam Glassman, creative director at O magazine with actress Tracee Ross.

And these two beauties again, who prove it’s all about getting bolder, not older! Do you want to be part of the #howboldareyou campaign? Chico’s is selling #howboldareyou t-shirts (all ages) on their site, and if you snap a selfie, you can post it on Instagram and show the world that ageism is a thing of the past! Here are the links below and to my dress too!
All the bloggers and attendees here are wearing Chico’s clothes ( new arrivals). You will find them here.
