Would you walk around in your Pajama bottoms all day?
I decided I would when I found a pair that looked like this!
These are the new Palm Leaf Pajama Trousers from Ann Taylor. This new daytime loungewear look comes right from the bedroom.
Now, if anyone would have told me that I would be wearing the pajama trend this summer, I would have said they were dead wrong. In my mind, pajama fashion meant big, baggy and sloppy. It wasn’t attractive, and it reminded me of a costume!
But look at these pants. Besides the silky fabric and the bottoms being piped like pajama pants, they look much more like a cross between flares and palazzo pants.
I love these pants! The fit is terrific; they’re nice and streamlined across the tummy and at the top of the leg.
Look how when I walk they shoot out into a gorgeous floaty, wide leg flare. Talk about fun!! These pants have a 60’s/70’s vibe going on, and they make my legs feel a million miles long!
I’ve paired my pajama pants with an elegant cotton knit halter for a cool summer look. Navy with that gorgeous palm green is so refreshing.
You’re probably wondering what I did about a bra? I just used one of those bra strap clips to hook my bra straps together at the back, so my bra wouldn’t show.
This is such a great look for going out to dinner, entertaining; you name it. You don’t have to have a specific place to wear this, just a desire to want to feel summery and a little bit trendy.
How do you like the tassel pendant? I’ve worn this Kendra Scott Pendant in many other posts. I like the way it breaks up the navy and ties in with the big white flowers on the pants.
Here are the look ladies. Yes, you can wear pajama trousers!
Wide leg pants look great with chunky heels, so I’ve paired these pajama pants with my gorgeous new Michael Kors gold stud sandals. I’m crazy about these sandals. They go with everything, and despite the height, they are comfy, which I must admit surprised me.
This outfit makes me feel ready to party! Summer..bring it on! You can shop these pajama trousers and the rest of my look above.
