Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! If you live up North, Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without a little of the white stuff.
Last week, we had a pretty downfall here in Burlington, Ontario, and I ran out to snap a few photos of myself in this winter wonderland.
Why would I pose outside in freezing cold temperatures without a winter coat?…………….. I wanted to show off this darling outfit from Fabrizio Gianni.
I’ve talked about Fabrizio Gianni before – their trouser pants and their wide array of colored jeans. They make fantastic fitting pants, and now they’ve added corduroy jeans to their line to keep you cozy this holiday season. I am in love with this rich shade of red and the subtle snakeskin pattern which adds that extra edge.
White has become totally acceptable as a year-round color and look how fab this white blazer looks with these burgundy cords. It’s such a festive outfit, and the nice thing is, this jacket is also perfect if you happen to be spending Christmas down south, instead.
Here’s a look at what’s underneath the jacket. I thought this was a very smart idea. It’s a beautiful, brown cascading sweater with a cream top sewn right into the sweater. This is an all in one top, and it’s stretchy, so it’s very comfy and slimming.
That’s not all! The best part is that Fabrizio Gianni is now shipping to Canada, so that’s good news for all my Canadian readers.

I like this casual look!
Great outfit! Would love to win it!
You look fabulous!
Not to put you on the spot, or embarrass you, but it would be nice to know sizing of these pants. I’ve looked on their website, but did not find anything especially helpful.
Or even a comparison- doesn’t have to be your size- an 8 in AG jeans= 10 In these type thing. Or they run small in the hips, etc. Thanks so much!
Hi Melissa I’m usually a 6, but looking at their size chart on their site, I decided on a 8 which fit fine. Cheers, Deborah
Perfect outfit for my son’s Rehearsal Dinner which will be held in October in our backyard!
Love, love, love that white jacket! It’s the perfect remedy for a winter of boring black or navy coats. And cords would be so nice to keep my legs warm in my freezing office! They’d be great with my new boots!
Nice.
I love this outfit! This so reflects my look as a newly 46 year old! Gorgeous!
This is a perfect outfit for our New Orleans “Winter”. Looks fabulous !!!!
Would love to be able to flaunt it —
Fabulous Outfit!
This outfit is ageless!
Would love to win the outfit! It would start my new year, new me off right! I am almost 50 and still want to look fabulous instead of frumpy!
As part-Canadian as I am, this outfit would be great north or south of the border. I would be ever so grateful to win even though I do not look like you: You look fab over forty
Cutest outfit, love the pants! Can you also tell me more about your haircut. It is adorable!
Wow, what a chic, classy, casual yet elegant ensemble! I want it:-) The red spectrum has always held some of my favorite colors and the brown and cream are “my” colors, too.
You look great in it, too, Deborah. I agree that you should model more. Thanks for the inspiration and this giveaway.
Oh Deborah! How beautiful you look modeling those fabulous winter outfits!! I (along with many of the glam gals) have been hoping that you would step into the modeling role, and what a great job you have done! As we say…….YOU GO GIRL!
Christie, That’s so sweet of you to say!
I’ve been rather camera shy, but my husband bought me a new Nikon for Christmas, so no excuses now. You will be seeing more of me this year and any glam gals I can find to inspire my readers!
Thanks for your encouragement. Cheers! Deborah
Saw this look on HIMW and I am not sure how I missed your December post but this outfit is perfect, love the white with the wine ( and snowballs in your bare hands). Great pictures
Hi Linda, My son, Harrison (16) took those photos when we had a sudden snowfall in November. (It all ended up melting the next day.) It was one of those winter wonderland snowfalls- beautiful and magical!
I’m sure you know what I mean, living in Ottawa! Cheers, Deb
I love xxxx this gorgeous outfit and you look beautiful in it.*-* Would love to WIN it! Thanks for the opportunity.
Thanks Wanda, I really love the color of the cords, a gorgeous merlot color — Not as bright as red and but richer than oxblood, and they look so elegant with the white jacket. Good Luck in the contest. Cheers, Deb
Love that outfit. Perfect for work!!
Hi Judy, Yes, I agree. I think the doublebreasted jacket is especially nice for work. I have always liked this style of jacket because it has an air of richness to it- so classy and professional.
Cheers, Deborah
What a gorgeous outfit!
Thanks Bonita, I like simple, elegant clothes with a shot of color so this works for me. Cheers, Deborah
I love your style and you look amazing in the photo shoot.I can only dream of looking this good.
I like the combination here, and you look great Deborah! I still think of and refer to your advice for fashion every day, it is fun to make fashion an interest!
Casual, but elegant!
I love this look, I would love to win this to add this to my other wise boring wardrobe.
You look gorgeous, Deborah and the photos are really fun! We don’t have any snow yet and it is quite mild over here in Germany.
Love the colour of your trousers!

I absolutely love this ensemble. The white jacket really caught my eye. I looks gorgeous on you. Seana xx
Hi Seana, White in winter seems to be catching on, but the nice thing is this is a jacket you can wear year round. It’s too light to wear in the snow (I went outside just for fun) buy you could wear it indoor up north in winter or outdoors in spring/summer and even into fall if you wore it with black. Thanks for popping in to say hello! Cheers, Deborah
Absolutely love your fashion sense, totally my stye! I’m 52 and love this website to get inspiration and ideas! I have got to ask, would love to know your photographers camera settings for such flattering pictures, I know as we get older harsh lighting doesn’t do us any favors, these pictures are really great!! I’m just starting to get into photography and would love to know! Thanks!
Hi Carla, I’m new to photography too. I think I just got lucky that day. There was no sun, but so much snow it was like being in an all white studio. The snow lit up the scene and everything looked so soft and lovely.
My teenage son took these shots with a DSLR camera- Nikon. Hope that helps! Cheers, Deborah
I love these cords. The colour is great for the holidays. These will be perfect to wear to my family’s house. Leslie
Fabulous, they would go nicely with a top I bought last summer.
I like turquoise jeans.
Having to wear a black chef coat, black chef pants and black non slip to shoes every day, I would absolutely LOVE ANY color, the brighter, the better! It would make me feel alive and younger on my days off instead of looking old in black every day!
Hi, so excited. It just occurred to me (duh) that something like your blog must exist!!! Can’t believe I found you. I need the help!
Thanks.
Love them!
I love toffee colored jeans. They remind me of vanilla ice cream and would go with so many great colors.
Love, red, pink or turquoise pants
I love pale colored jeans. I can pair them with my bright tops and blazers. When I prefer a more neutral look, I pair them with white palest greys and silver.
Pink!
Ohhhh, pink please oh, please!
Always RED!
My favourite is definitely pink :)
Love the raspberry color.
Love minty green colored jeans. Just right for Spring.
It’s the age of Aquarius. Aquarius … oh and the jeans too!
HI Gerri,
Actually Fabrizio Gianni has a variety of styles of pants and not just colored jeans. You must go to their website to see the selection of wonderful tops and t-shirts, too!!
Hi, just checking to see if “old” ladies can wear these awesome colored jeans. I try to be trendy, but don’t want to look like I’m trying to look like my daughters. Would love to try them!
Hi Gerri, I think everyone can wear these colorful jeans! They are certainly age appropriate as long as you wear the right size and a shirt that comes over your hips. Color is wonderful on all ages!
The turquoise and the purple definitely “speak” to me!
Love the lavender and red!
I love the yellow and the turquoise. I’m guessing that the colors will work for anyone well over 40 (e.g. 67), because I still love wearing jeans. Thanks again for your newsletters. Sharon

Love the electric blue and red … great for colourblocking…pair them up with white or neudes..
All colors look appetizing just like macaroons! But I opt for turquoise.. remainds me fresh summer breeze on Corsica!
