If you want to get cozy wozy, this is the year to do it. The selection of sweaters out there couldn’t be better. From chunky knits, to blanket sweaters, to boyfriend cardigans, there are gorgeous woolens to suit everyone’s tastes.
Take a look at how these stylish over 40 bloggers wear their favorite fall sweaters.
Gorgeous in Gray Sweater
This fall we are easily seeing 50 shades or gray or more because fashion has fallen in love with this elegant neutral.
Atlanta blogger Joanna has too. Here she is in a cute gray shirtdress that she has layered with a long gray cardigan that’s so soft looking you just want to reach out and touch it. Her cool over the knee, suede boots from Stuart Weitzman put the finishing touch on this fab fall look.
Joanna writes a personal blog, Poppy’s Style, about fashion, family, friends and fun. Be sure to stop by Poppy’s Style to learn more about Joanna and to take a peek at Joanna’s everyday fashions.
Pretty in Peach
You don’t usually think of peach, as a fall color but this year peach, pink and other pastel shades are a big trend, especially when it comes to outerwear.
Anne, the Irish blogger behind the wonderful mother-daughter blog Lustrous is right on trend in her gorgeous peach cable knit sweater coat. It’s the perfect shade for her warm coloring and looks so rich and cozy against the autumn leaves.
This is the kind of coat that looks just as great with jeans as it does worn with this pretty dark floral dress. Anne likes to throw this on when it’s warm enough that you don’t need a heavy coat but cool enough that you need something more than a thin sweater. Fabulous!
Be sure to check Anne’s blog for more great looks.
Here’s a snuggly sweater that makes you want to cozy up to this fall. Ana from Mrs. American Made looks super stylish in a black cascading sweater that she has layered over a cute print top. Love the fringed scarf. It gives the outfit a lot of personality and is a gorgeous contrast to the black. Check out Ana’s other sweater look in our Southwest style post and be sure to visit her blog where she posts about fashion made in the U.S.A.
