I always love a good find! This cute outfit is one of my latest!
If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I’m soon heading south. I can’t wait to get out of my dark winter clothes and slip into something light, bright and breezy.
So today I’m thrilled to be partnering with Picadilly Canada to bring you this cheery spring outfit that’s going to make my winter vacation a whole lot more fun!
When I’m deciding what to pack, I think about three things. I want clothes that are colorful and fun because after all, I’m on vacation. I also want to take along things that are light and comfy because I’m always on the go, shopping, dining and sightseeing. And finally, anything I bring has to be no fuss and easy to pack. I just want to toss it in my suitcase and go!
This fab outfit accomplishes all that!
These chic white cropped pants and relaxed layered tee are so fresh and classy.
I love the colors. The gorgeous ocean blue and sea green shades make it look very tropical but in a very modern way. In fact, the painterly brushstrokes almost make it look like a piece of art! There’s something about it that reminds me of tropical fish and coral reefs.
The tunic style of the top is quite lovely too. The bateau neckline is very flattering because it visually widens your shoulders and creates the illusion of a smaller waist. I like the length too (great for covering a bit of a tummy), and the white color-blocked trim gives it a modern vibe.
How do you like the texture? It makes me feel like I’m watching the waves at the ocean. No wonder this top feels so perfect for Florida or any other tropical hotspot.
Now, about the white ankle pants…. They’re fab because they have no zippers or pockets. They have a smooth flat front, so no matter what top you wear them with, nothing shows through. They’re also super light and have stretch built-in. You just pull them on like leggings. I love a good white pant, and I’ll be living in these.
Casual, polished and pulled together. That’s what I love about this cute vacation outfit!
