Purple is the color of spirituality. It calms the mind and uplift the soul, so it’s no wonder that it is the official color of the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge and Ming Wang’s limited edition scarf wrap.
Ming Wang Knitwear has teamed up with the American Cancer Society and is donating their soft, luxurious Hope Wrap to every patient, when one is purchased.
There are 31 Hope Lodge locations across the United States, which provide cancer patients with a free and nurturing place to stay while receiving treatment away from home. Retailing at $125, these scarves are warm and cheerful, lifting the spirits of those on the road to recovery. You can find them at retailers such as Dillards, Nordstrom and at over 250 specialty boutiques.
Today I am wrapped in hope to honour my friends and relatives who have fought so bravely against cancer. My dear friend Gabriela, who I walk with every morning, recently endured a terrifying battle with breast cancer, but came out a winner. I have so much respect for her and all she went through. She handled the whole ordeal with such courage and positiveness. That’s not easy.
This wrap is the perfect complement to an all black outfit. I don’t wear black as much as I used to because it washes me out, but this gorgeous shade of purple lights up my black turtleneck dress and gives me life.
It’s really quite stunning, isn’t it? I feel very glam wearing it!
So please, do support this wonderful cause! Wrap up your style in one of these beautiful Ming Wang scarves, and do a good deed for women in need, who is recovering from Cancer.

That color is STUNNING on you!
Well Deborah, you feel glam in this outfit because you look so glam! I love the solid black foundation…that dress and boots are gorgeous. The wrap is lovely and it represents such a worthy cause.
