How to Wear Pantone’s Color of the Year 2022
Pantone’s 2022 Color of the Year is Very Peri, a universally flattering periwinkle color that is blue with red-violet undertones.
To most, it looks purple, and as a result, we’re seeing lots of spinoff purple shades, including lilacs and lavenders, even vibrant pinks. Here are some pretty spring tops in these gorgeous new purples.

Here’s a top that is a little bit sexy in a very sweet way. Long bubble sleeves and an alluring keyhole neckline make this a romantic look. Balance out the prettiness with some gray wash jeans and edgy black leather boots. A soft, quilted black bag adds some eye-catching texture. Top off the look with some long silvery earrings for a cool, modern look.

3. Romantic Ruffles
Paisley and ruffles are two top trends this spring, and they come together beautifully in this flirty purple top. This blouse is classic through the front with oversized romantic sleeves. Pair it with some bootleg jeans to balance out the sleeves and a pair of chic ivory mules. A gorgeous matching bag with gold chain detail adds a glamorous touch. Don’t forget a pair of pretty earrings to finish off your look.
Will you be wearing purple this spring?
I for one will be a happy camper with this lovely shade this year and looking forward to finding some in the stores hopefully. I am pegged as a summer and this color will work just fine. I would probably some tops in the color, as next year, it will be a new color again and perhaps not so flattering! Thank you
Hi, Barb from Canada! You know I am Canadian too right? Burlington,Ontario. It sounds like you are well very acquainted with your colors. This new periwinkle shade is perfect for a summer. Enjoy!
Purple is not my color. I have warm tones in my olive skin. Purple especially light shades look terrible. I wish coral was the color. It’s funny but when I was a little kid, I loved lilac. You look good in that shade. Cute tops.
Hi Terri, Everyone can wear purple. It’s just getting the right shade. For example, I look awful in a purple that has more black in it. I’m fair and warm so I need a light, warm purple. Have you ever had your colors done?
