This Lace-Up Camo Shirtdress is Perfect for Summer

One of the things I love about summer is being able to slip on something light and simple, and then I’m off! There’s no layering of pieces, wearing a heavy coat, boots, and all the rest.

Here’s a perfect example of what I’m talking about.

camo dress and bag

This cute camo shirt dress makes summer dressing easy! You can wear it now as is or with leggings in the fall.

I have a few summer shirt dresses, but the color and pattern of this silky casual dress caught my eye.

If you look closely, you’ll see what looks like a camo print is a bunch of florals. It’s a clever way of making camo look more feminine. This softer camo print is much more my style.

And don’t you love those colors? They’re like traditional camo colors, but again slightly different. Yes, there’s khaki green, but burgundy, coral, and blush also exist! What a pretty way to liven up a dull, masculine color scheme!

Then there’s the neckline! Lace-up style tops have been trendy lately. I like the clever way they incorporated this trend into this dress. The lace-up neckline makes the dress look chic and relaxed look!

I’ve paired this dress with blush/nude suede slides. The Suede goes with the camo feel and contrasts the silky material nicely. Flats sandals would also be perfect with this dress since most shirtdresses are on the short side.

I like my crossbody bag with this dress too. It’s got a sporty feel, just like the dress.

There it is! It’s a cute look for running errands and is perfect for your summer vacation. Best of all, this dress is a smart way to go from summer into early fall.

  1. Hi Deborah, I love your blog but honestly, $298 for a dress? Many of us cannot afford that for a dress, and I work! Let’s get honest about the cost and put dresses and clothes on these blogs that the “average” person can afford.

  2. The dress looks lovely on you. But how about some more affordable options? Not everyone can spend $178.00 on one dress.

It's your life. Make it Fabulous!
