Last year was all about tangerine, but this year it’s time to make way for a another orange. Nectarine , bright orange with coral undertones, looks just as stylish gracing a tulle maxi skirt as it does a structured blazer.
I was thrilled to get this photo from one of my readers in Vancouver B.C. who was feeling pretty happy in this fun color. Meet Sue. Sue is wearing Joe Fresh.
It’s the perfect color for her since it’s pretty obvious her hair and skin color are warm like this pretty shade of orange. I like the combination of cream with the nectarine. It’s so crisp.
Nectarine looks best on women with warm skin tones, Autumns and Springs.
Stay away from this shade if you have very pink skin and ash hair. It will really clash with your coloring and won’t suit you at all. For example, someone like Michelle Pfieffer would look ghastly in this.
Colors are interesting. Certain ones really do look better on you than others and if you know the ones you should be avoiding or wearing it will amp up your style big time.
