There’s no better spot to do some serious people-watching than the streets of New York City during Fashion Week. Styles range from conservative to outlandish, with attendees vying for the attention of wandering street photographers. Please take a look at the fashionable and sometimes wacky looks we spotted at this week’s fashion parade.
Many women use this event to express their creativity and act out their innermost fashion fantasies!
For others, it’s simply a chance to dress up and look pretty.

Meanwhile, at Toronto Fashion Week, I sent street fashion photographer “Walking Canucks” out to take some shots of the fashion elite who attended the big shows. These included buyers, designers, fashion editors, publicists, and the like. Interestingly enough, my photographer came back with a lot of photos of women wearing all black.
Like our neighbors to the south (New Yorkers), Torontonians (and other Canadians) love wearing black. Cape! So chic. Don’t you love the glasses?
This season’s long vest looks cool paired with leather leggings.
