What to Wear With Pom Pom Sneakers?

I’m a pretty classic dresser, but I always like to include a modern twist. Shoes and accessories are where I like to have a lot of fun. So today, I’m partnering with Neiman Marcus to walk you through a fun new fall trend- Pom Pom sneakers.

Please leave it to Neiman Marcus to always be on the cutting edge of what’s new and happening.  They’ve always got the latest styles and gorgeous quality brands. Before we get to my new pom sneakers ( don’t they look cute?),  let me tell you a little bit about my outfit.

Fall is the time of year when I want to feel toasty and cozy. Here in Toronto, it’s not quite full-on coat weather yet, but you need something warm, which I why I went gaga over this gorgeous Vince Honeycomb Cardigan.

I’m into casual elegance, and this rich, chunky knit sweater was so creamy and soft, well, it practically had my name on it!  In the last few days, I’ve been wearing it with my Paige jeans. I’ve been through many brands over the years, testing them out, but I always return to Paige. They have a great fit, and they’re stretchy and comfy as heck.

Now, a closer look at my fabulous shoes that I’ve been dying to tell you about, and a great bag I found to go with them.

Aren’t these berry-colored suede pom sneakers fun?  I thought they were so adorable that I had to have them. I love so many things about them:

1) They’re different! The adorned shoe is a huge trend, and these cute mink pompoms on top of the sneaker are just enough embellishment for me.

2) they’re super practical – I live in flats so that I will wear them everywhere.

3) The color- love that rich, ripe berry shade, like fine Bordeaux! The color keeps these shoes looking elegant even though the pompom says creative and fun. How do you like my bag?

I like a big bag that I can throw all my stuff in and carry over my shoulder. This Michael Kors Jet Set bag is perfect for me. I know you’ve been hearing no matchy-matchy in the last few years, but that’s not true anymore. Anything goes, and I like the bag’s look balancing the shoe color, in this case. It’s an elegant look.

I wanted to mention that any white or creamy top or turtleneck worn under this cardigan will work. Push up the sleeves on the cardigan to look sporty, throw on some jewelry, and you’re done!
