Best Linen Cardigan to Cover Your Arms in Summer!

Every summer, I hear from arm-shy readers who, despite the warm weather,  do not like going sleeveless or showing their arms. They are looking for new and interesting ways to camouflage arm jiggle and crepey skin but not overheat. I often suggest tops with elbow-length, wider flowy sleeves,  eyelet sleeves, 3/4 length sleeves  . .. There are many tops that cover your arms to choose from.

However,  another great idea is to wear a lightweight, linen cardigan. This one is my new favorite.

I don’t mind wearing sleeveless tops. My arms don’t bother me, but they get chilly in the summer. This is especially true when I’m in an air-conditioned restaurant, a store, or plane. I even feel cold on a breezy summer day when I’m by the water, so it’s good to have a lightweight cardigan close by to slip on, if necessary. Just a light covering does the trick!

This bright yellow cardigan is great because it’s lovely and thin. I can roll it up and tuck it in my tote! It’s made of blended linen and cotton, breathable and summery. The length is perfect- not too long, but long enough to look chic, and the big patch pockets give it a very relaxed vibe.

I think it looks great with white jeans (I’m loving these stretchy, cropped jeggings lately), this cute, ruffle neck top and these metallic wedge sandals. The gold adds a touch of glam!

My darling shell top is the perfect layering piece for this linen cardigan. It’s airy and loose, and it has the cutest ruffle neckline. If this top looks familiar, it is. Remember the pretty floral ruffle neck top I wore with my long pink cardigan in the spring? This is the same top. I loved it so much I ordered a shaft; this outfit is similar.

This sporty summer-style recipe is a cinch to put together. I love how the outfit is casual, summery, and upscale! I’ve added some Dean Davidson jewelry- these two-tone linear hoops and my favorite linear bracelet. It all looks fabulous with this summer linen cardigan.
