Hot Pink Dress Has a Happy Summer Feel

It’s hard not to feel pretty in pink, especially when you’re wearing one of the brightest shades of pink out there!

Call it Watermelon, Geranium, Hot pink, or whatever else you want; this pink is as lively as tropical fruit punch.

I picked up this fun sundress by Vince Camuto earlier in the season because I liked the bold color and the simple mod cut. It’s nice and fitted up top; then it flares out into a strong A-line skirt.

The chic neckline is what really sold me. I love the way it highlights my chest and elongates my neck. It’s a fairly deep V-neckline, but surprisingly, it doesn’t reveal much.

Can you see the fabric? It’s slightly thick and full of texture. It helps give the dress its strong, structured fit and flare silhouette.

Here, I’ve paired this dress with my favorite Michael Kors studded block heel sandals and a quilted shoulder bag. Since the dress is on the short side, I think some light, flat sandals might look even better.

This is a happy little sundress that I didn’t buy for anything special.  It would be ideal for taking on a  cruise or a summer vacation to wear shopping or out for a bite.
