3 Flattering Ways to Wear Floral Jeans
This spring, everything is coming up roses,….and daffodils and peonies, and just about every other flower you can think of…..on JEANS! Pretty floral jeans are the newest trend. They’re fresh and feminine and a lovely way to look casual and classy. Here are three flattering ways to wear blooms on your bottom!
Floral Jeans with a Pretty Blouse
Here’s the most obvious way to style these pretty jeans – with a beautiful blouse. This delicate peach wrap blouse worn with these feminine white floral jeans is breathtaking. Add a pair of nude block heels to show off the pants and a pretty pastel purse, and you will have a fabulous, dressy, and casual outfit.
Style Tip: You could have chosen a pink top, orange top, blue, or any other color in print to wear with the jeans, but I like this very soft peach color. It’s the lightest shade in this mix of florals, and, as a top, it doesn’t compete with jeans. Instead of the outfit looking busy, it looks fresh and chic.
Floral Jeans and a Chambray Shirt
Here is another excellent way to wear the floral jeans look. This pair of floral jeans have a much smaller all-over print which means these would look best on a small to medium frame sized woman. (Small photos of a large woman will make her look more extensive.)
These feminine jeans have been paired with a more casual-looking chambray shirt. It’s an exciting mix of masculine (shirt) meets very feminine. The contrast makes it look very fresh and modern. Since the top is a darker color, I’ve paired the pants with a white bag and sandals so they blend in. This makes the shirt pop.
Style Tip: A half-tuck of your shirt into your pants is a chic way to style this outfit. Also, roll up those sleeves for a casual cool-girl look. Long sleeves buttoned up, don’t do it!
Floral Embroidered Jeans
Not all gals like florals on their fanny, so if you like the idea of this trend but just not everywhere, then look at these cute cropped jeans with floral embroidery on the cuffs. The embroidery is a slight, feminine touch that sets these jeans apart from your regular blue jeans.
Top them off with a pretty rose pink tie top, some platform rope sandals, wicker earrings, and a canvas bag, and you have an earthy, natural summer look.
Style tip: Cropped jeans can be hard to wear even when they have these cute floral cuffs because the shorter length makes your legs look short. Try wearing a wedge to give you some height. Even a low wedge like this does wonders to elongate your body and make your legs look longer and leaner.
