Chico’s New Arrivals Try On: Colorful Cropped Jeans & Tops

Today, we’re diving into some of the latest looks from Chico’s that are perfect to wear on vacation or if you’re lucky enough to live somewhere warm.

If you shop at Chico’s, you know that bright colors and bold prints are their signature look. Their spring collection is bursting with cheery new shades from Pantone’s 2025 color report.

I recently visited Chico’s and tried on a few things to give you a better idea of how they look and fit. Here’s what’s new for spring.

Chico’s New Arrivals Spring 2025 – Colorful Print Tees, Cropped Jeans

Colored Jeans

For all of you who don’t like to wear shorts but find long pants too hot, these cropped Girlfriend jeans are the solution. I normally wear a lot of white and tan pants in the summer. This pretty blue-green color, which Pantone is calling “Limpet Shell,” is a refreshing change and would look beautiful on a sun and sea vacation. I love the creative-looking brushstroke print sweater because it reminds me of the ocean.

Here are the same pants but in blue denim. What I like about Chico’s pants is their slimming fit. These midrise cropped jeans sit just below the waist. They’re stretchy and have hidden fit technology for tummy tightening, which I always appreciate! I can never say no to a sporty stripe in summer.

Sadly, this scoop neck slub tee didn’t last long and has sold out. But what do you think of this peplum flare sleeve top? I really wanted to try it on, but I ran out of time. It’s a feminine twist on nautical and has a great vacation vibe.

Artsy Prints

Chico’s not only has great colors, but it also has some of the best prints. I love the artsy floral design on this relaxed-fit, V-neck top—it looks handpainted!  Here are the cropped pants again, this time in a summery butter yellow. I’ve paired them with my new Steve Madden Raffia slides . They add a bit of texture and are a nice balance to all that color on my top and jeans. I also like the way this straw color blends in with my skin tone and makes my legs look long.

Luxurious Fabrics

While trying on these colorful cropped pants in different ways, I came across this gorgeous Zenergy loungewear set. Color-wise, it is the exact opposite of what I’ve been showing since it is plain, creamy, off-white. This is a cashmere blend, and you won’t believe how fabulously soft and cozy it is!

The luxe joggers are cropped just above the ankle, and the elegant tunic top that matches has a gorgeous cowl neckline. I’m in love with this look, and yes, I bought it!

Colorful Tees

Finally, here’s one more cute variation of these colorful pants. We’re back to the blue-green cropped jeans, but this time, I paired them with a slub scoop-neck tee in a similar color (aquatic teal). This soft, washed print gives the outfit a quieter, tone-on-tone look. Three-quarter-length sleeves make it easy to be sporty—There’s no having to push up your sleeves!

Be sure to check out Chico’s for many more fabulous early spring looks!

    1. Thanks, Carolyn. It also happens to be my favorite color overall! I’m a big believer in color theory, and since I’m a spring with warm hair and skin, this yellow is a natural for me. Thanks for popping in!

      1. You’re welcome! I can see why yellow is your favorite color, not only is it cheerful, but your spring coloring makes it a perfect fit. Color theory is so helpful in looking our best. I’m a deep autumn (aka blue autumn), I look best in the richest, most saturated autumn hues.

  1. Even though I am petite, the regular 000 in a cropped length does better on me at Chico’s. I ordered one pair for reference after petite 00 in store too big and an in-store return of 000 fits, but the length was too long. The 000 is an inch less in hip measurement on the chart than the petite 00. I have a Ponte black cropped pair that is perfect to wear with a black boot. The black pants fade into black boots and look casual or dressy.

  2. I absolutely love your style and the way you put things together! I get so many ideas for shopping. Have a great day!

    1. Hi Joanne, so nice to meet you and I’m thrilled you are getting some ideas. With so. much out there it can be overwhelming. As you can see I like simple, classic style with a modern twist and a nice shot of color. Great to know you can relate to that. Please let me know if there is any brand or type of clothing you would like me to model! Cheers, Deb

  3. Deborah,

I love Chicos pants! My go to is the Brigitte basic slit ankle pants. I am petite with long legs, so I get the regular because they fit better and the length for me is perfect. I have one pair that is crop, with eyelet at the bottom. Very cute for spring/summer, especially with espadrilles. Cheers!

    1. Hi Carolyn, I think many women don’t realize what a great selection of pants Chico’s has. In fact, the other day a woman stopped me in the store and asked me what white pants I was wearing, and when I says Chico’s she was rather shocked. I do love the Brigitte too. I love a slim pant, and that little slit makes them so chic. Thanks for dropping by and chatting. I love hearing from my followers and what they are interested in! Cheers, Deborah
