Dillards Sale 40% The Shoe Sale You Have Been Waiting For
A few months ago, I was in Dillard’s, marveling at all the fabulous shoes. The selection was incredible, and I felt like a kid in a candy store. All these shoes, each a fantastic work of art! The colors, the embellishment, the creativity….. what a fun way to take a simple outfit and light it up. I couldn’t help but snap a few photos, which I’m sharing today because I just found out that Dillard’s is having a 40% OFF Shoe Sale!
If your wardrobe needs a fun update, you’ll want to check out this sale. There are hundreds of shoes on sale, selling like hotcakes. Have a look at some of these more creative ones I found!
Embroidered Slingbacks – Steve Madden
I tend to wear a lot of solid colors, which look elegant, but can also sometimes be a little plain. One way I like to add some excitement is with multicolored shoes. Floral print shoes are trending, and this is one of the prettiest pairs I’ve seen. The delicate embroidered flowers are like a ray of sunshine! I also love the refined shape, classy pointy toe, and chic slingback style. The graceful heel is the perfect height to flatter, while also being comfortable to walk in. These shoes are read neutral, so you could wear them with anything from white pants to a pink dress, or even to spice up your favorite dark wash jeans!
Fabric Buckle Slides- Steve Madden
If you want a change from woven, metallic, or floral sandals this summer, how about cloth sandals? I thought these navy and white ones with the big buckle were really different, and they look comfy too. Here’s something about them that has that Maine, Cape Cod, New England coastal vibe to it. I think they would be great with a cute, breezy white sundress, or white shorts or jeans. They’d also look great with anything navy or red.
Lace Mary Janes – Steve Madden
Here’s a cute flat with a very pretty twist. These lace Mary Jane shoes would be great for those times when you need a dressy shoe but your feet can’t handle heels. That’s one way to wear them, but they would also look cute paired with a pair of jeans if you wanted your outfit to have a more feminine touch. Would just avoid wearing them with anything too precious, as they might come across as too little-girly.

These are summer parties, cocktail time! Can’t you just see these at a wedding, for example, with a beautiful, solid-colored dress, or even at a cocktail party with cropped, wide-leg pants? They’re bold, fun, and feminine!

There are a million and one sneakers out there this summer, but I thought these were sporty and chic. That soft olive color is unique and would pair easily with a wide range of things. I especially like the finer shape of this sneaker. No clunky, chunky feeling to weigh your feet down!

Gorgeous! Why does Sophia Loren come to mind for me when I look at these? I guess it’s because they feel glamorous, confident, with a touch of Italian flair. These netted mules would be a beautiful complement to a little black dress or black pants.

Calling all Shoe-a-holics! Talk about a statement shoe. These might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but on the right gal, with the right outfit, they would be stunning. That’s the great thing about a pair of shoes like this. They can totally transform your outfit and put a fun pep in your step, too!
Metallic Leather Floral Slides
Here’s a pair of flats that are tropical gold! When you want that island girl look that is glamorous and bold, these metallic floral slides are a fun idea. I call these the perfect vacation shoe for relaxed evenings out. They’d also be great if you were attending a beach wedding and needed something simple yet wedding-like.

Have you ever heard the saying, “Buy the shoes and the party will come?” That’s what I’m thinking when I see these floral fabric shoes. I’m not sure where I’d wear them, but they’re pretty cute, and that grass-green color is cool, summery, and fabulous. What a way to make an entrance!
Pearl Mary Janes – Steve Madden
These will keep your feet cool, comfortable, and pretty. MaryJanes with tiny pearls are a love, lady-like way to summer. They’re so neutral that they’ll go with anything, but the embellishment kicks them up a notch.
