Glamorous Kaftan Beach Coverups
I’ve always loved the glamorous look of a loose, flowy Kaftan. So, when I was searching for a beach coverup and happened upon these, I instantly fell in love. Today, I’m sharing three gorgeous Kaftan dresses and why every woman needs one!

What is the difference Between a Kaftan and a MuuMuu?
Are you wondering what the difference is between a Kaftan and a muumuu? Think of a MuuMuu as the Hawaiian cousin of the Middle Eastern Kaftan. It’s very similar in that it is a long robe with loose sleeves.
MuMu actually means “cut off” ― a reference to the original garment’s yoke-less neckline. But these days, a muumuu is any loose robe-type dress.
Artsy Kaftan
Here’s the same elegant Kaftan but in a deep ocean-blue wave print. It’s so artsy that I feel like I am wearing a painting!
This Kaftan is excellent for travel because it’s so thin and lightweight that you can roll it up in a ball and toss it in your suitcase. Then, at your hotel, wear it lounging on the balcony or out by the pool. (*luggage here)

Here’s another one of my Kaftans. This Indigo Kaftan has a striking blue and white print that reminds me of Greece. It looks fabulous at the beach but I wear it at home too.
It’s great to slip on when I get out of the shower and sit down to blow dry my hair and do my makeup.
It’s also dreamy to lounge around in at night while reading a book, watching Netflix, or waiting for my beauty face mask to dry!
How to Style a Kaftan
Are you planning a BBQ with friends? Kaftans can be worn as summer dresses and are perfect when you are hosting friends or when you are a guest at a pool party!
When choosing accessories to wear with a Kaftan, go big. I chose dangly, oversized hammered gold statement earrings to balance out the wide flowy look. Then I added sexy flat strappy sandals, and some glamorous dark sunglasses. A huge cocktail ring doesn’t hurt either, dahling!
Be bold, have fun, and try a Kaftan this summer as a beach coverup or for anything else. Your inner goddess deserves it!
