Today, I’m excited to partner with Macy’s to share some on-trend pieces I’ve picked up at the sale. Have a look at my deals haul and how I plan to wear these Fab Finds.
Chic Lady Jacket
Demure, very mindful—we’ve been hearing those words a lot lately because ladylike fashions are all the rage. A short-cropped lady jacket is always chic, and this Pocket Jacket from Inc. is a beauty.
The gorgeous color is modern and classy, a cross between plum and burgundy. Some lady jackets can be stiff and heavy, but what I love about this one is it is lightweight and comfortable worn on its own or layered with something else.
This is my style because it is classic, but the color gives it a modern twist. It’s so easy to look polished with a jacket like this, whether you wear it with black pants, as I have here, or with just a pair of jeans.
High-Waisted Ponte Pants
High-waisted pants continue to trend this Fall. I find them very comfortable and flattering, especially this flare style, which is slim through the thigh and flares out just past the knee.
What makes this pair from Inc. extra fabulous is that they are Ponte! You know, Ponte, like knit pants or leggings. Don’t get me started on how comfy they are!
These High Waisted Black Ponte pants are so soft, stretchy, and comfy that I could live in them. I ordered a small (I’m a true size 6), and they fit me perfectly.
You can see how versatile they are. I can wear these to business meetings, dinners, or casually at home.
The flare leg also makes them fun to wear, and I love how the pants create such great curves.
Collared Faux Wrap Top
What do you think about this Side Ruched Top I am wearing with the pants? It’s like a wrap, and I know how much you all love wrap tops!
I’m crazy about them, too! Wrap tops are classy and feminine but not frilly. They feel smart and polished, and they make your figure look wow!
This one is a faux wrap, so there’s no tie-up at the side. The ruched wrap front is sewn in, so you just pull this stretchy top over your head, and you’re good to go.
I had a hard time deciding on the color because this also comes in burgundy and has an elegant-looking black-and-white chain pattern.
Oh, I should mention the collar—another thing that sold me. Wrap tops with collars are hard to find. And while I like all wrap tops, these are the best since a collar frames your face and makes your top look a little sportier, too.

Wear them Together!
Now, here’s something you might not have thought of. You can wear the wrap top and the lady jacket together. I suggest keeping the collar under the jacket. It looks better this way, but don’t sweat it if it pops out now and then. This is a classy look, but it also feels relaxed.
Color Block Sweater + Levi Jeans
Color block sweaters aren’t new, but they’re a trend that never seems to go away. There are a lot of neutrals in fashion, but sometimes, a gal craves color, and a color block sweater is a fun way to get it.
This Bright Color-Block Sweater from Inc. has a relaxed, oversized tunic style. I ordered the small one, and it fits fine, but you may want to go down a size if you are not tall because it is very long.
Other than that, it’s very lightweight and cozy. The mix of colors is so creative! Who would have thought to put those colors together, but it looks like a modern piece of art.
The Levi 724 Jeans I paired it with are also on sale. If you are looking for a fantastic straight-leg jean, these are a winner! I hadn’t worn Levis since I was a teen, but I started wearing this style a few years ago. Boy, was I surprised by how comfy and great-looking they are. No wonder the brand has been around for 171 years!
These jeans fit well (true to size) and are soft, light, and easy to wear. They’re the perfect width at the ankle—wider than skinny jeans —but still slim through the leg. I highly recommend them. Think of them as your skinny jeans replacement.
V- Neck Sweater
As you can see, I couldn’t get enough of this burgundy color, so I bought this gorgeous V-Neck Rib Knit Sweater, which is a similar shade to the lady jacket. This is my kind of sweater because it’s light, fine, and has a fantastic shape.
I love the banding at the waist and the way you can position the sweater to drape over a bit. The v-neck front and back open up your chest, elongate your neck and make you look taller, and the batwing sleeves are always so chic.
You can go dressy with this top ( even wear it with a pencil skirt) or more casual -perfect for jeans, too.
Either way, it is simple and elegant—but I wouldn’t call it basic! It comes in seven colors.
Military Band Jacket
Here’s a fun Military Band Jacket from Tommy Hilfiger that I already own, but I want to share it because I see it’s on sale. If you crave comfort, you’ll want to pick this up because it is a Knit jacket!
It’s not stiff like a blazer; it’s soft, stretchy, and like a cozy sweater.
Don’t let the military braiding at the cuffs and the high collar fool you. This is not a formal jacket you have to wear with dress pants. It’s perfect for jeans (yes, those are the Levi 724 jeans again), and it fits true to size.
