Travel Friendly New Arrivals from Northern Reflections

Hi Ladies!  Spring is here, Easter is on its way, and vacation season is in full swing. Today, I’m thrilled to partner with Northern Reflections to share their beautiful new collection that’s perfect for travel or to wear at home! Here are two of my favorite outfits.

spring travel outfit

After a long winter, it’s a thrill to dress in lighter clothing and cheerful colors. Northern Reflections has some gorgeous new arrivals that truly spark joy!

My first outfit starts with this cute pair of Cropped Pants. Shorter lengths are trending this spring, and they’re just so practical when long pants feel too heavy or hot or you don’t feel like wearing a dress.  The double-frayed hem immediately caught my eye. It’s such a subtle, cute detail that kicks these pants up a notch.

The other thing I love about these cropped pants is they’re soft and they have a  beautiful finish. They’re micro-sanded, which means they are specially sanded to create a silkier feel to the fabric.

I also find it handy that you just pull them on. There are no buttons or zippers, and the flat front makes it easy to tuck your shirt in or leave it out without worrying about hardware showing through.

Speaking of the top, how about this pretty Boatneck Pullover in stunning lavender?  It’s so spring! I always find a boat neck so flattering. It tends to make your shoulders look broader, which makes your waist look smaller, and that’s always a good thing (Lol!)

This top is thin and lightweight. It’s perfect for this time of year when there can sometimes be a bit of a chill in the air.  It’s also great for going on vacation because you just never know how the weather will be.

Tying this fabulous look together is this elegant, artsy scarf.  It’s a modern mix of saturated brights that elevates the outfit to a whole new level. I also find a scarf super handy for travel. It’s an easy way to dress up an outfit and keeps your neck warm if you are flying or boating.

OUTFIT #2

My second outfit is the epitome of effortless style. This relaxed swing dress is classic, simple, and a pleasure to wear. Talk about a travel getaway must-have! When you’ve been at the beach all day or sightseeing for hours, and you come back to the hotel and need to slip on something easygoing but classy for dinner, this is it.

This Knit Ponte dress is soft and stretchy with a beautiful A-line fit. I’m usually a size 6, and this is a size small, so it’s perfect. Again, the color! It’s a deeper, richer purple but also exquisite. I find it such a refreshing change from black, which is a color, so many gals our age tend to hide behind. This purple is just as rich and slimming but has life!

Do you see how I’ve tied the scarf around my straw bag? All the colors work so well together, and of course, you’re OK to wear this scarf around your neck with this dress. However, I chose this pretty beaded necklace, which is a perfect match. I think the silver is very pretty with the purple too. This necklace has a cool summertime vibe.

I could easily see wearing this dress on a cruise if you are planning one. It’s perfect to toss in your suitcase, pull out for dinner, add a few accessories, and look like a million bucks. As they say, less is more!

Of course, all these easy-to-care-for, travel-friendly pieces would be fabulous anywhere. No matter how near or far I go this summer, they’ll work well for you and me, too, I bet!

Have a look at all the joyful finds in the Northern Reflections spring collection. The dress, sweater, and pants I’m wearing are a deal if you Use code WITHLOVEDEBORAH10 for an extra10% OFF these or anything else in the store.

  1. I love the color and design of this dress. Deb, you look FABULOUS! In the 1950s, the style was called “trapeze” and morphed into A-Line in the 1960s. This design was my Mom’s go-to style for a causal shift dress to elegant fabric with suitable accessories for dress up.

It's your life. Make it Fabulous!
