This Cute, Quilted Vest is a Fall Wardrobe Essential!

I’m not sure if you know, but I’m Canadian! Yup, I live just outside of Toronto on the shores of  Lake Ontario, where one of my favorite things to do is to take a relaxing walk in the woods along the waterfront. The leaves are turning from green to yellow to a gorgeous rust shade. The fall colors have inspired me to share a fabulous outfit from one of my favorite Canadian brands, Northern Reflections.

The Pants

It begins with these soft, smooth Ponte pants that are slim through the hips and thighs and have a sleek seam running down the front. The waistband is elastic and sits just above your natural waist, making the pants slimming.

The Pullover

Up top, I’ve created a layered look to give my outfit a chic, sporty look. The rust jersey pullover is super cozy. It’s just slightly relaxed, so not baggy, with just a little extra room at the best and waist to softly shape your body. The stand collar frames your face, and I love the idea of a zipper rather than buttons since it gives the pullover a more youthful vibe.

Then there’s this cute zippered vest, and how adorable is that? It’s multi-quilted ( diamonds on top and rectangles on the bottom), making it modern. The mock neck is perfect for warding off chilly weather,  and another zipper makes this look all the more sporty and cool.

The vest is also slightly relaxed like the jersey and it’s weather resistant! I love the idea of layering a pullover with a vest, especially when the weather is up and down this time of year. Layering is also ideal for traveling or if you are going to your cottage.
