Why Teal Looks Good On Everyone
Many things can make a sweater stand out. One of them is color. Today I’m sharing a fabulous teal sweater I just picked up. That’s quite stunning, not just because of how it looks on me but on everyone!

Did you know Teal is one of the four most universally flattering clothing colors? This deep blue-green shade highlights all skin tones and brings a pink flush to the cheeks.
Teal pairs well with neutrals, dark brown, wine, plum, burgundy, gray and black. It’s also an excellent transitional color as you move from season to season.
This elegant teal turtleneck is from @bananarepublic, one of my favorite places to shop because they always carry so many colorful things. It’s easy to get stuck in a black rut as we age. The right colors, like Teal, can do wonders to make you look more modern and youthful.
This cute teal sweater also has a few other great things. It’s pretty thin and lightweight (a little heavier than a t-shirt). It’s also very soft, comfy, and stretchy.
I’d say it feels not too tight but not too loose. It’s fitted at the chest and falls straight down, so you can wear it out or tuck it in.
I like that it’s thin enough to be a great layering piece, even when worn under a puffy winter coat.
My teal sweater is soft and fluid, and the neckline is very comfy and flattering too! Cowl necks like this are more stylish at the moment than high, close-fitting turtlenecks.
I find loose neck turtlenecks more flattering for mature women because of our aging necks. This type of neckline is soft, and it frames your face. You don’t get that tight “turkey neck look” with skin hanging over that many women complain about.
I styled my sweater with my favorite burgundy puffer jacket and burgundy suede boots for a festive December look. I love the high-contrast mix of Teal and burgundy. It’s energetic and upbeat.
This sweater also comes in 6 other gorgeous shades!
Teal, coral, and the other two universal flattering colors are…?
Hi Kathy, Blush looks beautiful on everyone because it brings out a warm glow and red too- but it has to be the right red for the person. A warm red if you have warm undertones and an excellent blue red if you have cool undertones.
Stunning! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Love teal! People tend to forget color more in the winter, but I love color year-round. Looks great on you!
Teal looks good with MOST coloring, but not all. It’s always best to try it on. Same with coral, the other “universally flattering” color. There are many variances in both colors, and a slight tonal change can make all the difference. Some do not feel they look their best either; if you don’t feel your best, you won’t be your best.
Where can I find that gorgeous off-the-shoulder, shorter dress shown at the top of the post??

Hi Nicole,
This teal is good all year long, but you will want to pick the shade that works best with your skin tone and coloring.
I love these elegant teal dresses. But how about giving suggested retail prices for fashions for your show?
I love to wear Teal. Is darker Teal also work for spring? How could I freshen it up?
Teal is one of my favorite colors, so I’m happy to see the selection of clothes and accessories for spring/summer!
