5 Awesome, Affordable Jeans and Cute Ways to Style Them

Time and Tru Cropped Straight Leg Jeans
Jeans styles come and go, but if you want to look fashion-forward, then get yourself a pair of cropped, straight-leg jeans. Walmart has this chic-looking pair from their house brand, Time and Tru.
They’re midrise, so they sit comfortably just above the belly button for most gals, and they come in a dark, light, and medium wash. The dark is a little more formal and classy, which I always gravitate towards.
I’ve paired them with a fun fringe cardigan and some cozy faux fur cuff lace-up booties. I love the burgundy with the navy blue, but this western-inspired cardigan also comes in green, mocha, and black. To finish off the look, I’ve added this faux pebble leather bag (you can carry it as is or turn it into a crossbody) and these pretty filigree hoops. This is a great casual look, and it’s so easy to put together!

Time and Tru Highrise Jeggings
When you cross jeans with leggings, you get jeggings – one of my favorite types of pants to wear. Why? Because jeggings look a little more like pants than leggings, but they are soft and stretchy like leggings. They are the best of both worlds! These Time and Tru leggings are proof of that. I love the high waist because it eliminates any muffin top. You can wear these with cropped or loose regular-length sweaters; they always look sleek and sexy. I think every woman needs a pair of black leggings since they are so versatile, but it’s nice to have a few other pairs in your wardrobe too. These jeggings come in 9 colors.
I’ve paired these leggings with this Pointelle knit, a ruched leather bag with suede side detail, and these taupe lug sole booties. Add a touch of gold jewelry, and you have a sporty, cozy winter look.

Sofia High-Rise Flares
Have you tried the Sofia jeans at Walmart? Talk about sexy jeans. These are part of the Sofia Vergara collection, so you know they are made for gals with curves! I love these sexy flares that hug your thigh and flare out at the knee. These give you a great shape and make your legs look a million miles long when you wear them with a pair of fab block heel booties.
A simple tunic sweater looks elegant with these jeans, and I’ve added a ruched bag for a bit of texture. Don’t you love these chic earrings? They’re classic with a modern twist and a great way to add a touch of personality to a classic jeans look.
O.K. Your turn! What is your favorite style of jeans? Straight-leg, jeggings, or flares? How do you style them? Be sure to check out all the great styles of Jeans and cute tops to go with them at Walmart. I’ve linked everything above for your convenience!

My favorite jeans are now bootleg. I’m 5’2 and petite with short legs. I noticed that bootleg jeans make my legs look longer, especially with a shorter top or jacket. Even though I wore skinny jeans and leggings with tall boots, I really didn’t like the look. Now it looks dated to me. I like slim straight-leg jeans or pants but bootleg looks best. I do think I am too old (68) for a wide flare leg but who knows I may change my mind.
Hi Tergg! I agree. I think bootleg jeans are the most flattering on all women. They do wonders to make your legs go on for miles. Slim is nice too and I never thought I’d like a flare, but they are a lot out this spring and they are growing on me. Send me a photo if you change your mind and buy a pair. Here’s a post I just did on them that may change your mind:https://www.fabulousafter40.com/wide-leg-jeans-outfits/. Cheers, Deb
