Floral Tunic + Leggings Makes Chic Fall Transition Outfit

This is the time of year when everything is in full bloom, including my wardrobe! Today I’m excited to be partnering with Picadilly Canada to bring you a chic floral tunic to wear with leggings that will help move you into fall.

Deborah in a floral tunicWe’ve had a great summer, but it’s always so darn short that come August, I’m looking for clothes that can easily transition into fall. This gorgeous floral tunic and leggings are perfect for that. This is an outfit you can wear now and right through to Christmas!

I’m a big fan of leggings. They’re so comfy and classy. This pair of pull-on leggings from Picadilly Canada is one of the nicest I’ve found. They’re light, smooth, and soft, and they have fantastic stretch.

See how great these leggings look paired with this Mesh Sleeve Asymmetrical Hem Top? I think it’s an exquisite look.

Now in case you hadn’t heard, floral prints are huge this fall. They’re the hottest new trend. I love the big, bold blooms on this long top. They’re modern, like a painting, but they don’t overpower. And of course, that combination of red and pink flowers against the white is just so fresh!

We all love black, but I’ve spoken many times about how black can sometimes be hard to wear as we age. All black can drag you down, but this outfit….well, it’s a perfect example of how to do black right once you are  past ” a certain age.”

All black from head to toe is super slimming, but the floral panels in the middle give your face some much-needed color. That splash of color makes all the difference in the world. These colorful blooms provide you with energy and life, and that’s what you want. You don’t want to look like you are on your way to a funeral!

Now, how beautiful is this? Do you see the sheer feminine sleeves and asymmetrical neckline? Fine mesh sleeves like this are great for gals who want some arm coverage and want to stay calm and not look weighed down. And the sheer fabric is slightly alluring too, which is lovely.

This is a great outfit. I’m a fan of the layered look of the tunic too. Also, the diagonal lines and the chiffon overlay.. very modern and slimming.

Here’s a closer look at the asymmetrical layering. That high/low hemline sends an artsy message and makes you look like more of a creative dresser.

This is such an easy look. I’ve got black lace-up heels on to dress it up, but this would look darling with black ballet flats too. (I love my flats!)

Nice shape, right? I give this top marks for being an outfit that is loose enough to be comfy and relaxed, but it also has stretch and shape, so it drapes and curves with your body.

Be sure to check out this outfit and more fab finds at Picadilly Canada. This outfit is selling fast, so don’t delay. If you do buy the outfit, be sure to send me a photo, and I will post it on my Facebook. I’d love to see it on you!

    1. Thanks, Kay, Yes, I did wear a strapless bra. I think it is the only way to go with an off-the-shoulder top. I wouldn’t say I like bra straps showing. It’s not my thing at all!

  1. I’ve not heard of the Piccadilly leggings… they look lovely, but I wonder if they run true to size? Also, how tall are you ( I’m very short,5’1″)? It would give me a reference point! I love the outfit, and thanks for your info./help!

It's your life. Make it Fabulous!
