Whether Thanksgiving dinner is at your place and you’re the chief-cook-and-bottle-washer, or you’re going out to visit friends or family, you want to look polished and pulled together, even if your Thanksgiving celebration leans a little more to the casual side. If you’re wondering what to wear, here are some cute and comfy Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas.
1. Animal Print Sweater and Jeans
You’ll look instantly up to date and be very comfy too in a cool looking animal print sweater. This leopard print crewneck is a real statement piece worn with jeans and these gorgeous black boots1
2. Chunky Long Turtleneck and Leather Pants
Talk about cozy, wozy! This chunky, cable knit turtleneck sweater looks rich and classy. Wear it with sexy leather leggings and some sleek black booties to look effortlessly chic.
3. Sweater Dress + Tall Boots
This next look is one of my favorite fall and winter looks, a classy sweater dress with a pair of tall suede boots. A plaid scarf and gorgeous leather bag finishes off the look.
4. Poncho and Corduroy Jeans
Nothing says fall like a cozy poncho with your favorite jeans. These are corduroy, which gives an outfit an earthy texture. Add a pair of exotic looking flats for a fashionable Autumn look!
5. Snakeprint Top and Flare Jeans
Snakeskin is another big trend and looks great this time of year worn with a pair of flare jeans and some rich taupe booties.
What kind of outfit will you be wearing to look cute and feel cozy on Thanksgiving weekend?

Great ideas! Love the outifts
Hi Deanne, Upscale casual and cozy is a good thing to aim for and that’s what I did with these looks. Cheers, Deb
I love all these looks! Thanks for the great ideas 💡 IMy Thanksgiving attire is usually on the casual side….jeans, booties, oversized sweater.
Love, Love, Love your Thanksgiving outfits. Heading from Texas to LA and the outfits are perfect. Appreciate the hard work you put into your site.
Cute looks! I am looking for different ways of casual without doing jeans everyday because I don’t want to get stuck in a rut. Can we have too many jeans & wear the too often you think? I love the sweater dress! Thanks for ideas!
These all look great but don’t seem practical if you’re hosting. Bell sleeves and ponchos would get in the way of working in kitchen, serving, etc. I’d appreciate more practical suggestions for tops that are loose and comfy but still attractive.
Hi Louise, I had guests in mind when I posted these but will post some this week for hosts.
These looks are all so beautiful. My favorite for Thanksgiving day is the 1st one. We’ll be out of town at my brother’s house, all helping with the cooking or chasing kids around, so leggings fit the bill. Although with all the beautiful flowy sleeves this fall, I will have to put that kind of sweater on after all the cooking is done!
