I love clothes with clean, modern lines that are fairly minimalistic, and my favorite way to style them is with gorgeous stand-out accessories. So today I’m partnering with Nordstrom to bring you two great ideas for how to use accessories to amp up your look this fall.
A long tunic over leggings is comfy, youthful and classy. But what really makes this outfit pop is my eye-catching jewelry. Nordstrom has a great selection of modern, affordable jewelry including my favorite designer, Kendra Scott.
Isn’t this necklace stunning? This is my Kendra Scott Pendant Necklace. I was drawn to the exquisite “navy crackle” color, and I love the way it pops against my charcoal outfit.
My cuff is also Kendra Scott. She’s from Texas, but her designs are global inspired. I bought this cuff because it looks a little exotic, and reminded me of my trip to Morocco. No wonder call it the Mystic Bazaar cuff!
In reality, the design is actually Kendra Scott’s quatrefoil logo. I’m crazy about the intricate, detailed openwork and the scalloped trim. This cuff has such a pretty feel, and it adds a nice, feminine balance to my pared down, semi-masculine look.
Wow, see how beautiful that blue is against the fall leaves? I also really like the custom shape of this pendant. The stone is an irregular diamond shape – so it’s classic in a way, but it has a bit of an edge. Perfectly my style!
Quality is important to me, and I love yellow gold.
The beauty of this necklace is that no two stones are they same. Each one has slightly different coloring – so you get a very unique piece. And here’s a cool feature…. Do you see the little bar on the necklace? It’s an adjustable slider you can move up or down the chain to shorten or lengthen the necklace. What I like is, I don’t have to ask someone to do up my necklace. ( those tiny clasps can be annoying). You just slip it on and adjust.
Oh, and just so you know, the cuff also comes in beautiful a silver color and an attractive silver/gold combo. I went with the gold color, but it was a hard choice. They all looked great!
When you are wearing really interesting accessories, it can be a real conversation starter, anywhere you go. And speaking of conversation starters, check out my next accessory, below.
Fringe gloves! They’re fun; they’re modern, and they are a fabulous way to add a lot of interest to an outfit. These were a blast to wear!!
These cute gloves feel really good on, and they give my outfit a playful vibe. Life is too short not to have a little fun with fashion.
I’m keeping these fringe gloves for myself, but the jewelry I’ve shown, they’d make a fantastic Christmas gift for your mom, your daughter your girlfriend or yourself. Check√ That’s one thing off your holiday shopping list!

I love your tunic! Such a cute outfit with attitude! I love wearing my outfit similar to yours but always do a shorter necklace b/c of my big bust and long necklaces kind of waterfall over and move too much when I walk. I guess we all have challenges!

Love this outfit. Can you share information on your sweater dress, leggings and tee shirt under the dress. Thanks.
I love that you went with a colored necklace instead of just black on black!!
I always think it pops more when the jewelry doesn’t match the sweater!!
We just went into a Kendra Scott store the other evening—such beautiful jewelry all over the place!!
