How to Style a Chic Burgundy Sweater Dress

Nothing makes me happier than getting a great deal, which is why I’m excited to be partnering with Nordstrom to tell you all about their fabulous Nordstrom Fall Sale!

You know I’m a big Nordstrom fan, and that’s because “they get it.” They understand gals like us want a wide range of modern brands at various price points. Plus, they offer free shipping and returns. I always find something that works for me at Nordstrom, and maybe you will, too! Here’s what I just scooped up.

I’ve always loved sweater dresses because they’re cozy. I like wearing them to conferences when I know I will be sitting almost the entire day. I also find them very relaxing when I’m out for dinner with my husband and friends, tucked away at a nice restaurant enjoying a lovely meal and a glass of wine …Toasty!

This chic cashmere sweater dress I’m wearing is a cocoon dress. It caught my eye because it’s refined and different. It’s like a very long tube that you slide over your head, then pull down and fold over. Here’s a similar cocoon sweater dress here.

You can see what I mean when you look at the back. It’s like a giant ribbed sweater!

The cowl neckline is so pretty in the way it gently frames the face. It’s much softer than a straight-up, high-neck turtleneck, which isn’t always as flattering on gals our age.

The artsy Dolman sleeves are my favorite!  I love drama.
