2 Chic Ways to Style a Double-Breasted Blazer with Jeans

When you want to take a casual jeans outfit to the next level, the simplest thing to do is add a beautiful blazer. A stylish blazer will make you look pulled together, credible and powerful!

A one-button or three-button blazer will do the trick, but to look elegant and classy, you can’t beat  a well-made double-breasted blazer.  Here are 2 easy ways to style a double-breasted blazer with jeans to look chic.

1. Wear a Double Breasted Blazer with a White Shirt

This is my new pink  double-breasted blazer from Talbots. I’m crazy about the cheery Barbicore pink color that works year-round and the shiny gold buttons that add such a classy touch.

This blazer is a cotton-linen blend so you can wear it right now and into fall.  Pop the collar and push up the sleeves. It’s easy to style because it’s so lightweight.

I’m wearing it here with a long tunic-type white shirt with buttons on the back (see carousel below). The jeans are cropped straight-leg, and the dark wash makes them look more sophisticated than faded jeans.

This is a fabulous look for a casual workplace or when you’re going somewhere and you have to look professional but you don’t want to look overly made up or stuffy,

2.  Wear a Double Breasted Blazer with a Black and White Stripes

Look #2 is also classic but playful with those sporty black and white stripes. I’ve switched out my blue jeans for black jeans and added this stretchy top that is soft and super comfy. This boat neck tee feels silky and wonderful. I love how it gives this outfit a bit of a French look!

With dark-cropped pants like that, I like to match the color of my shoes to my pants to create a long, lean line (especially since I’m wearing horizontal stripes that make you look wide.)
