The classic shirt dress looks like a man’s shirt. It’s straight up and down with no waist, but this spring, the fit and flare style is trending and so flattering! This gorgeous shirt dress nips in at the core and gently flares out at the hips, making it perfect for mature gals with curves and women with pear-shaped bodies. Shirt dresses tend to be short, and I have passed on a few before. But over the last, while dresses, in general, have been getting longer, and this spring, the midi length rules!
Traditionally a midi dress ends mid-calf, the widest part of your leg, but that length can make your legs look chunky and make you look short. This midi shirt dress is slightly above mid-calf, which is more flattering. It is the perfect length to make you look graceful and ladylike. Wear it with block heel sandals this summer or flats for a relaxed, casual vibe.
